氏家昂大 陶展: -skin works-

元々、物作りに興味があり、大学進学は美大を選択、最初は作家になるつもりはなかったのですが、転機は二年生の終わり、東日本大震災を実家の仙台で被災し「いつ死んでも後悔のない人生を生きよう」と決意し、陶芸に打ち込みました。
形の発想は2013年根津美術館での「井戸茶碗展」にて、喜左衛門を観て感銘を受けたこと、重心軸がズレた形に生命的な躍動感を感じました。自身で開発した「漆貫入彩」を中心に躍動する生命観を表現したいと考えています。それは器に生命が宿り、「skin」という形で表されます。
