1964 Born in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture
1989 Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Design
1991 Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts Master's Program (Graduate School)
1991-2000 Art director at Dentsu Inc.
2001-2008 Associate Professor of Onomichi University, Faculty of Arts and Culture
2008 Built a kiln in Izu-Atagawa, Shizuoka Prefecture. Established the workshop "Ceramics and Lacquer"
2009- Studied under Miyako Kobayashi, a lacquer artist belonging to the Japan Kogei Association
